Doc McStuffins Color and Play App Reviews

My daughter loves Doc but bored of this app after about 3 sessions. There simply isnt much to color or interact with. Mickeys and play still rules in our house.

My daughter had fun with this but was ready for the next room to paint, etc. It has been close to 2 months and shes asks almost everyday for the update. Is it ever coming out. Wouldve gotten more stars had the game been completed when released.

My girls love their iPads, they love coloring and they love Doc. So this app seemed like a no brainer. But what is it I see them doing? "Coloring" with a Magic Paintbrush tool that essentially colors the entire page with a simple swish of your finger. I want my kids to use the iPad as a supplemental tool that enhances real world activity. But what this app offers is a shortcut around creativity. Sure, they can take a crayon tool and painstakingly color each square the right color in the most adorably inaccurate child like way. OR they can press "Magic Paintbrush" and let the app do it for them so that they learn nothing from the experience. I know these apps arent that expensive but I dont think the cheap pricing is a good excuse for apps that have zero thought about what their intended audience should be getting out of them.

I had this app for months now and for the price, there shouldve been an update by now...ridiculous!!!! My kids are bored with this app...it seems like I really wasted my money.. :-(

This game is very misleading, it was not worth my 5.00. All you do is paint and repeat, nothing exciting for my 3 yr old niece

I gave this 4 stars bc my daughter really likes the game. I was shocked to see there was only one room! Mickeys Paint & Play has more variety, more rooms plus the holidays. Would love an update so we can color the front of the clinic. We can see it so its sort of teasing. Still a good app but Id go with Mickeys first to see if your child likes the concept. The magic brush is a good option. Plus there are many other ways for kids to make it their own with patterns, stickers, colors, etc.

My kid loved this game but after she finished the check-room, she played since. When is the new update coming?

Paint with a magic brush and theres only 1 screen to paint. You finish in 5 min. Sad it comes from Disney

there isnt much to do in this app any my kid got bored of it after 10-20 minutes.

I paid $4.99 for this game for my daughter and it force closes every time. I expect a full refund!

This game is cute but it needs an update!! Disney promised an update when purchased in early June but there has yet to be one. There is only one room for them to play in with a tease into another room that the kids cannot access. This annoys my daughter to no end. Do not waste your money until Disney takes the time to complete this game. I love Disney but am finding they are definitely about the money!

Please update as promised! Waste of money with how it is now.

Update caused app to close every time try to play it

Bought the app for a family member. It has many glitches.. First the sound went out so I deleted it and reloaded it. All was fine for a few hours then the whole app locked up and I had to reload it again. It is a good thing that my daughter didnt mind drawing all the characters again. I hope the app doesnt go out again.

My daughters, ages 4 and 10, both love this app. They have played it for many hours since we bought it and love all the options and features. They report no issues with sound. Im so glad I bought this app for my Doc fans! They love showing off their creativity designing things.

She loves these apps so when the Doc one came out we got it right away. She is pretty disappointed that no updates to it have really been made. Shed love to play in the rest of the clinic or Docs room.

You need to fix the matching game. If the child doesnt get the cards right, the game laughs at them...now who thought that was appropriate for children?!

but there are some things left to be desired. For instance, the waiting room is available in the Disney Color and Play through an in app purchase. It seems to me that it should also be available on the Doc Color and Play, especially since this is already a paid app. It doesnt seem fair to upgrade the games that require further in app purchase and not the ones that are a set price because they dont make as much of a profit. Charging so much for each individual thing is also unfair. Not all families have the monetary means to provide all of the activities their child wants, especially when each activity in some Disney apps could be as high as $7. Some serious price adjustments need to be made.
